The Eyes of the Divine: The Eye Colors of Radha and Krishna & the Transcendental Braja-genetics Behind it - Including a Study of the Role and Importance ... and the Vedas (The Sweetness of Braja) Over time, I've noted that some devotees are captivated by the question of Kṛṣṇa's actual eye color, and a variety of speculative possibilities abound, including notions that Kṛṣṇa's eyes could be brown or red. Until then, I had never considered such a detailed aspect, but I was fascinated by how deeply devotees wish to know the details of Rādhā-Kṛṣṇa—much like the saying "love is in the detail." Especially in the realm of devotion, love lies in the detail. It's only natural that devotees harbor an intrinsic desire to explore the enchanting intricacies that envelop the Divinities of Rādhā and Kṛṣṇa. I then too found myself pondering the hue of Kṛṣṇa's eyes, while remaining aware that any intellectual knowledge on this subject is but a shadow when contrasted with the indescribable beauty that surely emanates from Their eye color. Despite seeking answers from fellow devotees over the years, I remained bereft of a definitive response. Many just merely mentioned a color, without providing any reference to a specific scriptural source, which left me unimpressed and I was not unconvinced.
